Arizona Cardinals linebacker Karlos Dansby has stated that he "definitely" expects to stay with the franchise next season.
Pro Bowl selection Dansby starred for a Cardinals defensive unit which finished the campaign strongly, leading his team in tackles, passes defended and interceptions, as well as recording 6.5 sacks.
Dansby will turn 33 during next season and has previously stated that he would be willing to take a pay cut to remain with the team.
He told SiriusXM NFL Radio: "I definitely expect to be an Arizona Cardinal next year. We don't have long before free agency, so we'll get to talking and try and hammer something out.
"I have to stay, because I've got some things up my sleeve to solidify myself as the best linebacker in the league, period. I let it slip through my fingers last season. I won't let it happen again."
Dansby was the fifth highest-rated player in his position last season.
