New Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn has outlined his desire to build a "championship environment" at the club.
The 44-year-old was hired to replace Mike Smith, who was sacked by the Falcons following their failure to reach the playoffs for a second straight season.
Quinn has revealed that he is determined to bring the winning mentality from his time with the Seattle Seahawks to get the club back into the post-season.
"I'm so fired up to be here with you guys today," Quinn told reporters. "I can't wait to build a similar championship environment right here in Atlanta.
"It starts with effort first, and that's always the thing we'll talk about. We want to be really aggressive in terms of the way we attack."
Quinn guided the Seahawks to become the number one ranked defense in the NFL in his two years as the club's defensive coordinator.
