Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has admitted that he does not know when he will be able to return to action.
Reports suggested that the 30-year-old would be able to make his comeback from a groin injury this Sunday against the Detroit Lions but he has distanced himself from those claims.
"Can't tell you," Cutler told ESPN. "I wish I could say I'd be out there. But the way Josh [McCown] has been playing, we feel good. We've got to be smart."
Backup Josh McCown led the Bears to victory over the Green Bay Packers on Monday to move Marc Trestman's side to 5-3 in their season.
