D'Qwell Jackson: 'Winning at home crucial for Cleveland Browns'

Cleveland Browns linebacker D'Qwell Jackson believes that the team need to win their home games to be successful in the NFL.

D'Qwell Jackson has said that the Cleveland Browns must win their home games if they are to be a successful NFL team.

The AFC North side, who have not reached the playoffs since 2002, lost their opening game of the season at the FirstEnergy Stadium, but have since secured back-to-back home wins, and will look for a third tomorrow.

The linebacker told the team's website: "If you want to build a solid team, you've got to win at home. You've got to win your division games. You've got to win at home. It's hard as heck to win on the road in this league, let alone any game.

"Detroit's coming in, and we definitely want to take advantage of this three-game stretch where we do have the ability to play at home because right now is the most important time where you can tally up the most wins you can so when you get to late November, early December, things kind of fall into place for you.

"The fans deserve a winner, and that's what we're trying to do here. We've just got to keep building, keep putting out good practices, and actually be able to win some tough games."

The Browns, who are level in their division with the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals, host the Detroit Lions tomorrow.
