Joe Thomas has said that he expects Jason Campbell to do a "great job" during his first start for the Cleveland Browns.
The 31-year-old, who joined the AFC North side during the off-season, will be the team's third starting quarterback so far this season when he plays against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
The left tackle told the team's official website: "I think Jason's going to do a great job. We've had a little bit of experience with him, so it's not going to be totally fresh.
"There will be a little bit of a learning curve because we don't have as many snaps with him as we did with Brandon [Weeden], but I think he'll come in and do a great job for us.
"He's steady. He's got a lot of experience in this league. He's played in a lot of different spots, so he knows how to get the job done at quarterback."
The Browns currently sit third in their division.
