Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Norv Turner believes that Trent Richardson will have over 300 carries for the team in 2013.
The running back, who was cleared to take part in training camp earlier this week after recovering from a shin muscle strain, is heading into his second year in the league.
Turner told the Plain Dealer: "Obviously, the trend in the league is to not do that, but I think it depends on your team and everyone around it.
"If that player is your best player, then I think it's probably a good thing to have him in the game and give him the ball.
"So I would hope Trent would have that many carries. That means he's playing healthy and playing at a pretty high level."
Only five players had over 300 carries in 2012, while Richardson managed 267 for 950 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.
