Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has insisted that the performance of his team is more important than individual statistics.
Bryant said recently that he was capable of receiving for 2,000 yards in a season but has now moved to clarify that victories for the Cowboys come first.
"It's possible," he told a league television programme. "It's something that I'm not trying to reach; you gotta win games, playoffs. That's my goal.
"It's a team sport. I was asked a question and I just answered it. They just focused on that point."
Bryant's figures for the 2012 season were a career best 1,382 yards.
