Jeremy Mincey pleased with Dallas Cowboys effort

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey feels that his side put in a good defensive display in the second half of their defeat to the San Francisco 49ers.

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey believes that there were a lot of positives to come out of his side's opening-game defeat to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Cowboys sustained a 28-17 loss as quarterback Tony Romo threw three early interceptions, but their defense tightened in the second half as the 49ers failed to register a single point.

"It was definitely a good game to learn from, good game to grow," Mincey told The Dallas Morning News.

"What I love the most about our team is we came out in the second half and we fought all the way till the end. A lot of people let the levee break and it could've got real ugly and we didn't allow that."

Jason Garrett's side face the Tennessee Titans in their second match of the campaign this Sunday.
