Kevin Vickerson fined for Samson Satele incident

Denver Broncos defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson is fined $10,000 by the NFL for kicking out at Indianapolis Colts center Samson Satele.

Denver Broncos defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson has been fined $10,000 (£6,200) by the NFL for an unnecessary roughness foul.

Vickerson was penalised on the field for kicking the leg of Indianapolis Colts center Samson Satele in his side's defeat to Chuck Pagano's side.

The incident occurred in the third quarter of the game and Vickerson appeared to go over the center and strike him on the way down and on review, the NFL have deemed the action worthy of a hefty fine.

The Broncos are 6-1 in their season following their loss at Lucas Oil Stadium.
