Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron has set his sights on becoming rookie of the year in the 2014 season.
The Lions selected the 21-year-old 10th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft out of the North Carolina Tar Heels to boost their offensive production after missing out on the playoffs in the 2013 season.
"My goals are set high. I'm going to try to go for rookie of the year. I believe I can do it," Ebron told the club's official website.
"My coach right now, he's saying, 'Our goal right now is to make it to the Pro Bowl our rookie year.' Well, your goal is my goal."
Ebron recorded 62 receptions for 973 yards and three touchdowns for the Tar Heels in the 2013 season.
