Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew has revealed that the future of Ndamukong Suh is a priority for the franchise this off-season.
Speaking at the NFL scouting combine, Mayhew revealed that there wasn't much change in the situation since the end of the season.
"It's not done. [We're] still working on it. Still very optimistic we'll be able to get it done," he told the media.
"Priority number one is getting a deal done with him. So that's what we're focused on right now is trying to get something done with him. We'll cross the other bridges of other players whenever we get to those."
Mayhew added that he would like to get a contract negotiated with Suh before the free agency market opens for business on March 10.
