Bruce Arians has confirmed that Chuck Pagano will resume duties as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts when he is well enough.
Pagano has not been in charge of the team since being diagnosed with leukemia in September.
At a press conference, the interim coach said: "If he comes back, he'll be the head coach. It's his team."
Pagano could be back on the sideline by the end of the year for the Colts' final regular-season game against the Houston Texans.
Many of the Colts squad recently shaved their heads in support of Pagano while he underwent treatment.
