The Indianapolis Colts have released defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois after two seasons with the club.
The Colts signed the 28-year-old to a lucrative four-year deal worth $22m (£14.2m) in 2013, but he struggled to live up to the expectations of his contract as his side struggled on defense.
As a result, Chuck Pagano's men have taken the decision to cut Francois in order to save money on their salary cap for the 2015 season.
The defensive tackle recorded 28 tackles and three sacks for the club in the 2014 season.
