Gus Bradley: 'Making final cuts isn't easy'

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley says that making final cuts to the team's roster is not easy.

Gus Bradley has said that the deadline for making final roster cuts is "not an easy day".

The Jacksonville Jaguars have already trimmed their team down to 54 players, which will become 53 when Justin Blackmon begins his suspension.

The head coach told the team's website: "It's not an easy day. It's good to have open discussion. We'll have some new additions to our team. With the waiver wire being open, I'm sure we'll pick up a player or two.

"We made good progress. I think we improved every pre-season game. I say that whole-heartedly looking at all areas."

The Jaguars face the Kansas City Chiefs in the opening game of the regular season.
