David Caldwell: 'We will not lose to improve Draft position'

Jacksonville Jaguars general manager David Caldwell insists that he does not know any team in the NFL that would lose on purpose to improve their position in the Draft.

Jacksonville Jaguars general manager David Caldwell has denied that any of his players would drop games in the NFL to improve their Draft selection.

The Jaguars are 3-9 in their season and would be in line to select in the top five on the 2014 Draft in May, but their chances of getting the number one selection would improve if they fell to a 3-13 record.

Caldwell told Sirius XM: "I don't think that's in anybody's mindset that has ever stepped into an NFL franchise, and if it there is, they're probably in the wrong industry."

The Jaguars face the Houston Texans on Thursday in their AFC South clash.
