Former defensive tackle Curley Culp has described his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a dream come true.
Culp, who was inducted during last night's ceremony, spent seven seasons at the Kansas City Chiefs before moving to the Houston Oilers, where he spent another successful six years.
"You know, this is an occasion that's long been in my dreams and now lives in reality," the 67-year-old told reporters.
"I cannot express how glorious a feeling this is for me and my family who have long hoped with me that this day would come.
"So to be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame gives me joy and inspiration that would last the rest of my life."
Culp was selected for the Pro Bowl on five occasions and won the Super Bowl with the Chiefs in 1970.
