Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has revealed his excitement ahead of his side's playoff campaign, which begins against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night.
Reid said that the Chiefs would continue to take their season one game at a time, having achieved the "tough" task of qualifying for the post-season.
"Well, first of all it's tough to get here," he told the club's official website. "It's tough to get to the playoffs. When you have an opportunity to do it, you have to take advantage of every opportunity you have.
"That's exciting. That's what it's all about. These guys work hard to get themselves in position to go win a championship and this is the first step. You have to make the playoffs in order to do that. It's exciting times."
Both the Chiefs and the Colts finished the regular season on 11-5.
