Linebacker Anthony Barr has agreed a contract with the Minnesota Vikings having been picked by the team in the first round of this year's Draft.
Barr was chosen ninth overall in the Draft as the Vikings selected him with their top pick before later trading up for a second first-round choice to clinch quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.
The former UCLA star has now agreed terms on his rookie deal, signing a four-year contract worth a reported $12.75m (£7.6m), with a fifth-year team option also included.
The deal means that the Vikings have now signed both of their first-round Draft picks, having also tied Bridgewater down to a contract today.
Unlike Bridgewater, Barr is expected to slot straight into a starting place in the team, with head coach Mike Zimmer understood to be keen on handing him a substantial role in defense.
