Christian Ponder has been diagnosed with a minor shoulder dislocation following the Minnesota Vikings' 34-27 win over the Washington Redskins earlier this week.
The quarterback was forced out of the NFL game after picking up the injury, but will reportedly be ready to face the Seattle Seahawks next weekend.
NFL.com reports that the NFC North side will assess the 25-year-old's arm strength during next Wednesday's practice before deciding whether Ponder will be able to play.
The Vikings sit bottom in their division, having won just two games so far this season.
