Rob Gronkowski: 'I don't want to be limited'

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski suggests that he is feeling closer to making a full-time return to his side's games after easing his way back into action.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has suggested that he is almost ready to come back as a full-time player for his side.

The team has decided to ease Gronkowski back into the league after undergoing reconstructive knee surgery, with the end so far featuring in just over 50% of his side's snaps this season.

"I've been in about three games deep now. So basically, it's just progressing every week but it's getting to the point where we can start rolling more and more," said Gronkowski, according to the Boston Herald.

"Obviously. I'm a football player. I don't want to go out to the game and be limited, so I always want to play as much as I can because I like being out there.

"So it's up to the coaches and when my number is called, I'm going to go out there."

The Patriots are next in action when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs this coming Tuesday.
