Bill Belichick pleased with New England Patriots' progress

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick reveals that he is pleased with what he is seeing from his side in the early stages of the season.

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has admitted that he is pleased with the way his side are progressing this season.

The Patriots moved to 3-0 in their NFL campaign with a 23-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Gillette Stadium.

Belichick told reporters: "It was good to win yesterday. I thought our team did a good job and I felt like we improved in all three phases of the game and a lot of things individually.

"Hopefully we can just keep working hard, just keep practicing well, keep grinding away and continue to show improvement on a week-to-week basis. That's what we really need to do at this point in the season."

Belichick's side face the Atlanta Falcons in week four.
