LeGarrette Blount has said that he will have no friends on the field when he faces his former team later today.
The running back was traded to the New England Patriots in April, ending a three-season stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 26-year-old told 750 The Game: "I don't have no friends when I get on the football field. I don't have no homies. I've never met you and I don't know you. That's how it is on the field. When I step on the field, we ain't cool. We ain't nothing.
"I worked really hard and the undrafted thing really put a chip on my shoulder because I felt like I was the best running back coming out of my class so when I was undrafted I felt like I was forgotten about."
Blount has recorded 1,965 rushing yards and scored 13 touchdowns during his NFL career.
