NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has revealed that there is no timeline for the outcome of Tom Brady's appeal against his ban for the deflategate scandal.
The appeal into the 37-year-old's four-game suspension took place on June 23 after Brady was found to be generally aware that members of the New England Patriots' equipment staff had deflated footballs in their AFC Championship win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Goodell disclosed 11 days ago that the result of the appeal was coming soon, but the outcome has still yet to be revealed as the Patriots approach the start of their training camp.
"There is no timeline," Goodell told TribLive.com. "We want to make sure we have a fair and open process."
Reports suggest that Brady wants the entire four-game ban rescinded otherwise he may take the case to court.
