Report: Rob Gronkowski surgery in two weeks

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will reportedly undergo surgery on his torn ACL and MCL in two weeks.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will have surgery on his torn ACL and MCL in the next two weeks, according to a report.

The 24-year-old sustained the injury during his side's win over the Cleveland Browns after taking a hit from safety TJ Ward.

Tests have revealed that Gronkowski suffered no dislocation and will only have to wait for the swelling to abate before undergoing surgery, which should give him time to recover for the start of next season, reports NFL Network.

Gronkowski had 39 receptions and four touchdowns this season in seven games for the Patriots.
