Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has said that he is looking forward to playing his first game in this season's Super Bowl venue this weekend.
Second-year pro Wilson has never played the New York Giants, and has stated that their clash on Sunday will give him an opportunity to see the MetLife Stadium before a potential return trip for the campaign's climax in February.
Wilson's men are currently 11-2 in the NFC West and widely expected to reach at least the NFC Championship game this year.
He told the New York Post: "Obviously our ultimate goal is to play in the Super Bowl, and it'd be nice to have played there before and just been in the stadium before.
"I've never played in MetLife Stadium, but it's exciting to potentially play there one day, and so for us it's a big opportunity."
The two sides last met in 2011, with the Seahawks running out 36-25 winners.
