New York Jets general manager John Idzik has admitted that his side could look to the trade market after they were unable to recruit a new cornerback in free agency.
Idzik said that he would not panic about what is looking to be a weak spot in his roster, but would act on trades should the right option become available to the Jets.
"As we proceed through free agency and approach the Draft, there may be trade talks," NFL.com quotes Idzik as saying.
"There may be roster transactions, players become available that may be of interest. So we're very open-minded and we feel like we're prepared to act."
The Jets finished the 2013 season with an 8–8 record and did not manage to qualify for the playoffs.
