Rex Ryan has said that he does not know whether Tim Tebow will remain at the New York Jets next year.
The former Denver Broncos starting quarterback joined the Jets in the offseason as backup to Mark Sanchez.
The Jets head coach told reporters: "We'll see what happens. My focus has to be with those two games, and that's it.
"It hasn't panned out to my expectations and maybe to Tim's either."
Third-string quarterback Greg McElroy has been promoted to starter, above Tebow and Sanchez, leaving both players' futures at the Jets in doubt.
The Jets face the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
