A final-quarter run from Andrew Luck gave the Indianapolis Colts a four-point victory over hosts Oakland Raiders in the NFL, with the final score ending 21-17.
The Colts were the first to score in the opening quarter when Reggie Wayne latched onto a 12-yard pass from quarterback Luck for a touchdown, with placekicker Adam Vinatieri delivering the kick to add an extra point and take the scores to 7-0.
With the second quarter underway, the Colts doubled their lead following another touchdown, this one coming after Dwayne Allen picked up another great pass by Luck from 20 yards, leaving Vinatieri to kick and push his side's score to 14.
The Raiders hit back in the last five minutes of the second quarter with a touchdown from Darren McFadden, which allowed Sebastian Janikowski to kick for an extra point and bring the scores to 14-7 at half time.
Janikowski was in the mix of things again as he provided the only points of the third quarter with a 38-yard field goal to put the scores at 14-10 going into the fourth.
It looked as though the Raiders might run out as winners when Denarius Moore picked up a five-yard pass from Terrelle Pryor, but it was the Colts who made the final touchdown of the match when Luck completed a magnificent 19-yard run to push his team to a 21-17 victory.
