The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced that they have released wide receiver Lance Moore after just one season at the club.
The 31-year-old joined the Steelers last year during free agency as he penned a two-year contract worth $3m (£1.9m), and was expected to have a significant contribution to the offense.
However, due to the emergence of Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton as well as the continued high level of play from Antonio Brown, Moore failed to make a lasting impact leading to the decision for the club to release him.
Moore recorded just 14 receptions for 198 yards and two touchdowns for the Steelers in the 2014 season.
