NaVorro Bowman has signed a new deal with the San Francisco 49ers, keeping him at the franchise until 2018.

The deal means the 49ers will keep all four starting linebackers until at least the 2015 season.

49ers general manager Trent Baalke said: "We are excited that the All Pro tandem of [Patrick] Willis and Bowman will be together in red and gold for years to come."

The 24-year-old was drafted by the 49ers in 2010.

This season, Bowman has recorded 129 tackles, two sacks and one interception.
