San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh has dismissed talk that the players at the franchise want him out after comments made by Deion Sanders.
The former 49ers star took to Twitter to refute claims that wide receiver Michael Crabtree was his source, but he has insisted that he had heard the players were "not down with their coach".
"Personally, I think that's a bunch of crap," Harbaugh said in his weekly Monday news press conference.
"When it comes to a football team, if there's people that want to divide, divide, divide on the outside, then our response is, 'Unite, unite, unite," he added.
Offensive lineman Alex Boone came to the defence of his coach and insisted that those outside the locker room have "no idea what goes on" and the players enjoy playing for Harbaugh.
