Jim Harbaugh has said that he has yet to decide who will be the San Francisco 49ers' kicker on Saturday.
The 49ers signed free agent Billy Cundiff last week, following David Akers's recent dip in form.
When asked by reporters if he had made a choice, the head coach said: "No, not a resolution. We have a leader in the clubhouse.
"We'll see how it goes today and tomorrow. It's been good competition. We're working through it."
Harbaugh has not ruled out having both players on the roster for this weekend's playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.
Cundiff was released by the Washington Redskins earlier in the season for making just five of 12 field goal attempts, while Akers has made only 29 of his 42 efforts this season.
