San Francisco 49ers receiver Stevie Johnson has insisted that he is not growing frustrated by the lack of playing time he has received so far this season.
Johnson was a three-time, 1,000-yard receiver during his spell with the Buffalo Bills, but he is currently behind Anquan Boldin, Michael Crabtree and Brandon Lloyd in San Francisco.
"No frustration at all. [The] only sense of frustration is being a competitor, you know, wanting to do more. But it ain't like there's a bunch of pansies in front of me," he said, according to CSN Bay Area.
"It's cool to a certain extent. When we get in those situations, in the heat of the moment, of course, I'm a warrior. I'm ready to go out there. We got great guys out there on the field. You can't be frustrated. It's not going to look right."
Johnson has recorded back-to-back games of making five catches and he is expected to continue to play a role in the 49ers offense for the rest of the season.
