Former NFL star Kurt Warner has insisted that he isn't going to attempt to "fix" San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The Hall of Fame finalist revealed that he is looking to help develop the signal-caller's game and help him improve in the pocket.

"First of all, I don't like the word 'fix'. We're just trying to grow [Kaepernick] as a quarterback," Warner said, according to CSN Bay Area.

"He's an extremely talented young kid, a kid that was thrown in, as a lot of young quarterbacks are, before he really understood how to play the entirety of the quarterback position."

Warner, a two-time NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP, added that he is confident that he can help Kaepernick become better at reading defenses and understanding where to go with the football.
