San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York insists that a report saying that the Cleveland Browns were close to trading for head coach Jim Harbaugh is false.

San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York is adamant that a report suggesting that the Cleveland Browns were close to trading for head coach Jim Harbaugh is untrue.

A report suggested that the Browns were ready to trade multiple Draft picks for Harbaugh to replace the fired Rob Chudzinski, but the 49ers insist that story is false.

York wrote on Twitter in a post to ProFootballTalk.com: "Is this on the record? Report isn't true."

Harbaugh led the 49ers to their third NFC championship game in a row in the 2013 season.
