Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Star Lotulelei will miss his team's divisional weekend clash with the Seattle Seahawks due to injury.
Lotulelei fractured his foot during the playoff victory over the Arizona Cardinals last weekend, meaning that he is out for the remainder of the campaign, should the Panthers advance past last year's champions.
This loss is a huge blow for the Panthers, who will face Seattle's formidable duo of Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch on their own ground on Saturday.
Second-year tackle Lotulelei started 13 games this season, missing three with an ankle injury in November.
With him missing, the trio of Colin Cole, Dwan Edwards and Kawann Short will be responsible for stopping the majority of the Seahawks' offensive advances.
