The New York Giants are reportedly pursuing a trade for Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor.
The 27-year-old has been looking for an improved contract with the Super Bowl runners-up and has missed the team's entire off-season.
It is believed that the Giants and other teams have contacted the Seahawks to gauge their interest in dealing the safety but according to NFL Media, Seattle are unwilling to let Chancellor leave.
Pete Carroll's side traded for Kansas City Chiefs safety Kelcie McCray as an insurance policy should the three-time Pro Bowler continue to stay away from team activities into the regular season.
Chancellor helped the Seahawks win the Super Bowl in 2014 and has been a prominent member of their defence since being drafted in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
