Players from the Seattle Seahawks have had mixed emotions following their narrow loss to the Atlanta Falcons yesterday.
The NFC West side fought back from 20 points down at half time to take the lead in the final minute of the game, before losing out to a Matt Bryant field goal.
Quarterback Russell Wilson told the Seahawks' website: "When the game was over, I was very disappointed. But right before I got back to the tunnel, I got so excited for the next opportunity next year. I'm looking forward to what we have in the future. We have a great football team.
"We made some great plays coming back. That resiliency we showed was unbelievable, but that's what we're all about."
Tight end Zach Miller added: "It was real exciting for the whole comeback, and then really a letdown. It was fun for a while and then really disappointing."
The Seahawks finished the regular season with 11 wins and five losses, before beating the Washington Redskins in the wildcard round of the playoffs.
