Mike Kafka's agent has announced that the quarterback has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The former Philadelphia Eagles backup spent two seasons with the NFC East side, but had been without a place in the NFL since being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars last campaign.
According to ESPN, the 26-year-old is likely to compete with Jordan Rodgers to be the team's third string quarterback, while incumbent starter Mike Glennon will likely face competition from a Draft or a free agent signing.
The Buccaneers missed the playoffs for the sixth season in a row in 2013.
