The wife of Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Lawrence Tynes has taken to Twitter to refute claims that he is recovering well from illness.
Tynes recently underwent surgery on his toe after contracting MRSA, becoming the second Buccaneers player to get the infection in quick succession after Carl Nicks was also sidelined with it.
Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano yesterday said that the duo were "responding well" to their treatment, but Tynes's wife Amanda disagreed with that statement on Twitter.
I hear my husband is responding "well" to treatment. LOL! He's NOT responding at all yet. This is our #bucslife pic.twitter.com/Gy4z4OcAXA

Two-time Super Bowl winner Tynes, 35, is a new addition at Tampa Bay having joined in July after spending five years with the New York Giants.
