Great Britain's men's archery team lasted just 20 minutes at a packed Lord's today, going out in the first round 223-212 to Ukraine.
Team GB were behind from the start as the trio comprising Larry Godfrey, Simon Terry and Alan Wills stuttered with low starting scores which were punished by the deadly Ukrainians.
Ukraine were 10 ahead at the halfway point at 112-102 and despite a couple of solid rounds for Britain in the third and final attempts, the damage had already been done as Ukraine wrapped up a 223-212 victory.
Team GB won the World Cup earlier in the year, but they have been knocked out at the first time of asking at London 2012.
