Jessica Ennis-Hill has revealed that she was "absolutely made up" to run a time of 12.79s in the 100m hurdles at the Anniversary Games in London.
The Olympic heptathlon champion was making her first appearance at the Olympic Stadium since London 2012, and after finishing in fifth place in a world-class field, she admitted that it felt like she was finding some form after her return to the sport.
The 29-year-old told BBC Sport: "I'm absolutely made up. It was such an adrenaline rush to be back at the Olympic Stadium.
"It was incredible and to run 12.79, I'm so happy. I'm finally finding some form at the right part of the season."
On Saturday, Ennis-Hill will take part in the 200m and long jump in the second day of competition at the Games.
