England's Rajiv Ouseph has secured his place in the semi-finals of the men's badminton by defeating Scotland's Kieran Merrilees at the Commonwealth Games.
The 27-year-old eased to victory against Merrilees as he recorded a straight-sets victory to reach the last four at the Emirates Arena.
The first game proved to be a tight contest, but Ouseph had just enough quality to pull away from the Scot to secure a 21-14 victory.
The number three seed displayed his class in the second game as he dominated Merrilees with several high-quality strokes to seal a comfortable 21-7 win to reach the last four.
Ouseph will play India's Kashyap Parupalli in the semi-finals on Saturday.
