DeMarre Carroll will undergo tests on his knee after picking up an injury in game one of the Eastern Conference finals at the Philips Arena.
The Atlanta Hawks small forward had to be helped off the court after landing awkwardly during the fourth quarter of the 97-89 loss, and was seen leaving the arena on crutches.
Coach Mike Budenholzer told ESPN: "He's such a great teammate. Everybody is just concerned about DeMarre. I'm hoping he's ready to help us as soon as possible."
Teammate Kyle Korver added: "It was hard to watch. We love DeMarre like a brother. We'll see [later today] how he is. Obviously, it didn't look good."
Carroll has averaged 17.1 points per game in this season's playoffs for the Hawks.
