Brooklyn Nets star Brook Lopez is expected to be back in action against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
The Nets centre missed the last game due to a sprained left ankle, and had previously missed seven games after initially suffering the injury on November 15 at Phoenix.
"I'm pretty sure. I think so. That's the idea," Lopez told reporters when asked if he could face the Sixers.
Teammate Joe Johnson conceded that he is hopeful to have Lopez back as soon as possible considering his influence on the team, as Brooklyn look to improve on their 8-15 record this season.
