The Chicago Bulls have announced the signing of Aaron Brooks as the point guard became a free agent after spending the previous season with the Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets.
Brooks, who has played in the NBA for the previous six seasons, has enjoyed stints at the Phoenix Suns and the Sacramento Kings and is now heading to Illinois to fill the gap left by the injured all-star Derrick Rose.
"We're excited to add a player as experienced and talented as Aaron to our group," said Bulls general manager Gar Forman.
After being drafted in 2007 out of Oregon, Brooks was named as the NBA's Most Improved Player in the 2009-10 season with the Houston Rockets.
