The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without point guard Kyrie Irving for the first few months of the new season, according to reports.
The 23-year-old hobbled off in game one of the NBA finals with a knee injury, and missed the remaining games against the Golden State Warriors.
Yahoo Sports claims that Australian-born Irving will not play again until January, with the new season beginning on October 29.
Irving averages 21 points per game in his NBA career.
