Mike Brown: 'Cleveland Cavaliers must get the ball to Andrew Bynum'

Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Mike Brown believes that the team must get the ball to center Andrew Bynum.

Mike Brown has said that the Cleveland Cavaliers need to find a way to get the ball to Andrew Bynum.

The Cavaliers allowed the Portland Trail Blazers to clinch a last-gasp win last night, leaving them with back-to-back defeats.

The head coach told reporters: "Right now, we don't know how to get him the ball when teams front him. In the first half, it was part of Portland's defensive philosophy to play every post player straight up and you can't play Andrew Bynum straight up.

"I don't care who you are. If you play him straight up and allow us to throw him the ball, he's going to make plays. He's going to score or he's going to make the right pass out if you try to double team.

"I think they realised that at half time and they made an adjustment. We just have to try to keep figuring out what we can do to give him the basketball when teams decide to front him."

Bynum had 13 points, nine rebounds and two assists during the defeat.
