NBA roundup: Cleveland Cavaliers clinch third straight win

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Saturday's games in the NBA as Cleveland Cavailers beat the India Pacers and Philadelphia lose again.

The Cleveland Cavaliers secured their third win in a row with a dominant second-half performance against the Indiana Pacers.

Just three points separated the sides at the break, but Kevin Love finished with a season-high 28 points, while Kyrie Irving chipped in with 24 as the Cavaliers pulled away in the third quarter.

The Los Angeles Clippers made it six wins from seven games on the road as they cruised to victory over the Utah Jazz.

The visitors surged ahead early on, with Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford finishing the night with 50 points between them to leave Utah without a win in five.

The Philadelphia 76ers are still without a win this season as the Dallas Mavericks condemned them to their 16th loss of the campaign.

The home side were just four points adrift heading into the final quarter, but Tyson Chandler led the Mavericks on a six-point unanswered run to help them build their lead and see out the win.

James Harden led the Houston Rockets to a comfortable win over the Milwaukee Bucks for their 13th victory of the season.

The visitors were missing three of their regular starters, but Harden stepped up to score 34 points, including 19 in the third quarter, to end the Milwaukee's three-game unbeaten run.

The Washington Wizards held on for a narrow win over the New Orleans Pelicans, despite having their lowest scoring game of the season.

Marcin Gortat made a season-high 24 as the Wizards edged in front, and a late surge from Anthony Davis left the Pelicans just short.

The Atlanta Hawks thrashed the Charlotte Hornets to inflict a ninth straight defeat on their Southeast Division rivals, while moving themselves to a 9-6 record.

The home side were 11 points up by the end of the first quarter, and outscored Charlotte 36-11 in the second to effectively seal the win by half time, with Paul Millsap and Mike Scott combining for 32.
