Report: Ray Allen close to joining Cleveland Cavaliers

Former Miami Heat guard Ray Allen is reportedly leaning toward joining the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Ray Allen has reportedly indicated that he would like to join the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The veteran guard is currently a free agent, but is believed to have been drawn to the team following their acquisition of former Miami Heat teammate LeBron James.

According to the Boston Globe, former Heat forward Mike Miller, who has also moved to Cleveland, has been trying to convince the 39-year-old to join the team, and Allen is now thought to be leaning towards the Cavs.

Allen featured in 73 regular season games for Miami last season, averaging 9.3 points per game.
